Pantene Product Launch

We’re proud to have worked on this empowering campaign for Pantene’s new collection of hair products made for and by Black women.

As part of the launch campaign for Pantene’s Gold Series, we helped produce a series of inspiring vignettes featuring Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe, Essence Fest panelist Whitney White, as well as Alex & Isis from St. Beauty getting celebrity-inspired hair makeovers from stylist Chuck Amos. Pantene approached us to bring their creative vision to fruition – while managing to shoot at the largest event of its kind – with the ultimate goal of shifting standards and the world’s definition of beautiful hair through positive representation of all hair types.

“Essence Festival is a massive event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States, making production logistics very complex,” said Bark Bark’s Head of Production Tabitha Mason-Elliott. “With a very skilled team, we were able to utilize our experience to navigate event logistics and performance schedules to successfully accomplish an ambitious shoot schedule that had us filming all over New Orleans with multiple celebrity talent. Keeping our team small, we were able to capture the essence of the brand within the authentic and beautiful experiences of their talent.”
