Joe Coleman has made his way up through the ranks at BARK BARK to Art Director. He’s been with the company almost since the beginning (and he’s still waiting for his commemorative plaque, or statue). But seriously, creating and being inspired by visual effects, 3d, compositing, and anything design-related is what keeps him happy, motivated, and hungry for more.
When he’s away from the office he continues to experiment with everything from vintage film equipment to augmented reality and everything in between finding interesting ways to combine different formats and experiences. Oh, wait. He does that at work too. Both home & work have the clutter and dismembered parts to prove it if you happen to stop by.
Joe attended Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a BS in Electronic Media Production with a minor in Writing. While there he developed a taste for bluegrass and off-road adventures. From editing for a Music Row television production company to shooting The White Stripes for Bonnaroo, Joe has been involved in many different aspects of the production process. Originally from Atlanta, he moved back and earned a Master’s degree in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta.
Networks that Joe has made happy include TLC, Disney, Nickelodeon, CNN, USA, Fuse, Lifetime, ABC, Nat Geo, NBC, Food, Cooking, History, Discovery, Adult Swim, AMC, E!, Epix, HGTV, G4, MTV, OWN, TBS, and a countless number of clients to go along with that.
